I give Eva and Henry 5 stars for 1) their quality of work, 2) reasonably priced renovation cost, and 3) efficiency to complete planed work in a tight timeline. I purchased a home in New Jersey at the end of 2018 and needed to move in before February, 2019. Though overall the unit was in a good condition, however my wife and I wanted to change the carpet to hard-wood floor and renovate the master bathroom before we move in.
We only had a narrow window of December to do the renovation and we have a limited budget. Eva and Henry were able to meet with us several times to discuss the renovation details and lay out the plan. Once we agreed on the price and put down 50 % deposit, Eva was able to bring in all the workers and complete the renovation in just 2 weeks. During this time, we received daily updates on the project progress with pictures to make sure the details are done correctly. Now, happily moved in, we’ve been really enjoying our life at our first home! I would highly recommend Eva and Henry for your home renovation work.
Quick tips for new home owners: 1) know what you want, the contractors will give a lot of recommendations, but also you need to do your own research and figure out what material and design style that you like. 2) communicate constantly to make sure that you stay on top of everything and the contractors are implementing exactly what you have in your mind.
I have contracted to Lion for 3 different contracts: 1. gut renovated a 2000 SF loft 2. Upgrade facade, lobby and stairways of a brown stone building 3. replace a 120 years old elevator in TriBeCa. Lion has done a fabulous job every time and they did it within budget. The elevator upgrade needs to build a 7 story elevator concrete shaft and install a brand new elevator. To retrofit the elevator, we need to do it with tenants. It is a challenging job for both construction and logistic. We awarded the job to Lion and they completed the project in time and within budget. Lion has done excellent jobs every time and I recommend Lion highly.
